Description
Welcome to The Country Club of Mount Pleasant. A semi-private 18 hole Country Club offering a beautiful, 6550 yard, par 72 championship golf course, full service Clubhouse, Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts in the Mount Pleasant area. Designed by Perry Maxwell in 1939, the first nine holes challenges all level of golfers, and is rich with it's original design of the era. In 2000, another 9 holes was added, although shorter in length, challenging tee shots and doglegs will demand a good swing in order to score. Golfers such as Buster Cupit, Jacky Cupit, Dr Kennedy and Betty MacKinnon once honed their game on the historic 9 nine holes, it also was awarded #6 in nine hole courses in Texas by the Dallas Morning News. Rich with history you will be charmed by the natural terrain around Town Lake, beautiful full fairways and Tiff Eagle greens that welcome each approach shot.
