Golf Course Information
Once you've played The Tribute Golf Club, you'll see why Golf Digest named us as the #1 Public Golf Course in the Dallas area and one of America's 100 Greatest Public Courses for 2006, 2007, and 2008. To us, golf is an event, and everything we do is designed to give you, your customers, or your tournament players a golfing experience unlike anything they've had before. The Tribute is a true links course, patterned after the legendary courses of Scotland. Designed by renowned golf architect Tripp Davis, The Tribute's 18 holes simulate some of the most famous and challenging holes of the Scottish links. The Tribute features the finest elements of traditional Scottish golf, including wide-swept dunes, sea washed grasses, and challenging water hazards.
The Old American Golf Club at The Tribute was designed by Tripp Davis and PGA tour star Justin Leonard. The course provides challenging bunkers, native grass areas, and challenges for all skill levels.
The course was formerly referred to as "The New Course" as a complement to the Tribute's existing "Old Course," a Davis design featuring holes inspired by the great Scottish links on the British Open rota.
Tripp, Justin, and Matthews Southwest felt that "Old American Golf Club" captured the spirit and essence of the design and what we are attempting to convey to the golfer.
