Grey Rock has served as the host course for the U.S. Open qualifier, the Buy.com/Nike qualifier, and the Texas Women's Amateur Championship. In 2002, the Texas Challenge, a Canadian Tour event, took place at Grey Rock and action was televised on the Golf Channel.
